Water Absorbents
Water absorbents are polymers which absorb and retain large amounts of water. Applied to soil, they significantly reduce water depletion and run-off, thus reducing the need for irrigation by about 30%.
Soil Surfactants
Soil Surfactants are substances that reduce the surface tension of water, increasing its ability to penetrate and wet the soil. They are used primarily in hydrophobic soil.
